WITNESS!... what SCOOT-CORSIM Link,
SCOOT-VISSIM Link developed by us can do to your cities
The University of Utah Traffic Lab has successfully linked the real-time adaptive traffic control signal system, SCOOT, to the widely accepted traffic simulation software, CORSIM. This means that we can:
Test the performance of SCOOT under various simulated conditions, such as varying degrees of saturation or accident recovery.- Model the performance of SCOOT on a given street network. This can be useful for those who wish to get an idea of how SCOOT works on their network before they pay to have it installed.

We have already completed a preliminary evaluation and test of a small, six-intersection network. This test compares the network under SCOOT control and under optimized area fixed-time control. The results of the network show significant improvements of adaptive control over fixed-time control.
